Cleaning Washing Machine Interior
If you notice a residue buildup, left from detergents or hard-water minerals, you can remove them by filling the washer with hot water and pouring in a gallon of cheap white or apple cider vinegar. Run it through one complete cycle and it should be gone. Do this only periodically, so you don't damage the interior surface.

Wow! I have not heard the name Heloise in years! My mom had Heloise books and proceeded to teach us tons of Heloise tips!
That washing machine one is awesome, but I use regular vinegar and not the apple one.
Nice site by the way! Thanks for stopping by my spot!
Great tip--Where I live the water is crazy hard--I'll have to give it a go! :) Thanks...
