Water Rings on Hardwood Furniture?

To remove them, make a paste of non-gel toothpaste and baking soda. Rub it into the white stains until warm. It takes a bit of time for the marks to go away. When they are gone, wax the wood, if okay for the surface.

WHAT WOULD YOU THINK?????

(Here’s the reply the teacher received the following day)

Dear Mrs. Jones,

I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single snow shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn’t show me dancing around a pole. It’s supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot. From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Smith

What Breed of Cat Are You?

I am a cat lover! I have 4. So...if I was going to be a cat what would I be? According to the test I took I am a "Ragdoll". To see what you would be take the test and let me know?

I am a Ragdoll Cat
You are extremely cute and cuddly. You are downright adorable.
Your personality matches your exterior. You are very laid back and sweet.

You don't really like the outdoors. You prefer to stay inside where it's cozy.
Luckily, you are the perfect houseguest. You are polite and obedient.

Soda Gone Flat?

Don't throw it out because the fizz is gone. Instead, pour it into ice cube trays and freeze. Pop into your new soda to chill, so the cubes won't dilute it.

A New Use For Onions
It's easy to get your indoor grill sparkling with the cut side of an onion! Simply stick a fork in one end and rub the onion on the still-warm grate. It contains chemicals that scrub off stuck-on bits.

GONNA BE A BEAR

In this life I'm a woman. In my next life, I'd like to come back as a bear. When you're a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but sleep for six months. I could deal with that.

Before you hibernate, you're supposed to eat yourself stupid. I could deal with that too.

When you're a girl bear, you birth your children (who are the size of walnuts) while you're sleeping and wake to partially grown, cute, cuddly cubs. I could definitely deal with that.

If you're mama bear, everyone knows you mean business. You swat anyone who bothers your cubs. If your cubs get out of line, you swat them too. I could deal with that.

If you're a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake up growling. He EXPECTS that you will have hairy legs and excess body fat.

Yep, gonna be a bear!

WORD OF THE DAY

Furndents - those pesky spots left in the carpet when you move the furniture. NOW here is how to fix them:

If there are dents in your carpet where furniture has been placed and you've moved it, get your steam iron out. Hold it an inch or two above the carpet (do not let it touch the carpet) over the dent and press the steam button several times. Allow the steam to hit the carpet dent. Then fluff up fibers with your fingers.

Cervical cancer, once the leading cause of death in American women, is now a preventable disease. Yet many women neglect their cervical health until it’s too late. In time for Cervical Health Awareness Month, LifeScript answers 10 common questions about the disease. Plus, test your women’s health IQ with our quiz…

In 1950, the development and use of the Pap smear was a milestone in women’s health. The test became a routine part of women’s preventive care, and cervical cancer deaths plunged almost 75% between 1955 and 1970. Yet nobody knew what caused cervical cancer.

Now we do. With the discovery of Human papillomavirus (HPV) as the main cause of cervical cancer, the fight is on to squash the disease.

Cervical cancer can be prevented or cured in most cases when caught early. So it’s crucial for women to get the facts. Get all the facts at LifeScript.
